Better Fundraising Starts With Understanding Why People Care

GiveGoodBack was created around a simple belief:

Giving an organisation another fundraising link is easy. Giving people a stronger reason to use it is far more valuable.

There are already countless ways for charities, schools, clubs and community organisations to raise money. The challenge is rarely a shortage of fundraising mechanisms.

The bigger challenge is turning the goodwill that already exists around a cause into meaningful, sustainable participation.

That is where GiveGoodBack is different.

We Start With Your Cause — Not Our Programme

Before we talk about products, percentages or platforms, we want to understand your organisation.

Why do you exist?

What problem are you trying to solve?

Who cares most about that problem?

And what would those people like their support to help achieve?

We use those answers to help shape a fundraising proposition that feels relevant to your supporters and authentic to your organisation.

Because while the fundraising mechanism may be the same from one organisation to another:

The reason people participate should never be.

Understanding your cause

Discover → Define → Connect → Activate → Grow

Step 01

Discover

We learn about your organisation, your purpose, your supporters and your existing fundraising.

Step 02

Define

We identify the problem your community can meaningfully help you solve — not simply the amount of money you need to raise.

Step 03

Connect

We develop a fundraising proposition that connects that problem with why your supporters care.

Step 04

Activate

We help build the campaign, equip your internal fundraising champion and introduce the recurring-income programme.

Step 05

Grow

We stay involved after launch, reviewing progress, sharing ideas and helping maintain participation over time.

This approach is informed by established donor-centred fundraising thinking: successful fundraising is not simply about what an organisation needs, but about creating a meaningful connection between the cause and the people who want to help.

More Than a Fundraising Platform

Anyone can give you a link.

Our role is to help make people want to use it.

That means GiveGoodBack does more than provide access to a fundraising programme. We can support participating organisations with:

  • Fundraising discovery and positioning
  • Campaign development
  • Internal champion support
  • Onboarding and launch
  • Ready-to-use communications and resources
  • Regular reviews and fresh campaign ideas
  • Long-term programme development

You know your cause and your community better than anyone. We bring the structure, tools and ongoing fundraising support.

The Recurring-Income Engine

Our current recurring-commerce programme is powered by the LiveGood Fundraising Programme.

LiveGood enables participating organisations to generate fundraising income from qualifying customer purchases, including potential recurring income when customers continue to reorder.

LiveGood handles the products, customer orders, fulfilment and customer service. GiveGoodBack helps build the fundraising programme around it.

That distinction is important to us.

We are not trying to turn your organisation into a supplement retailer. We are providing your supporters with another way to contribute to a cause they already care about — through purchases they choose to make.

Why GiveGoodBack Stays Involved

Successful fundraising rarely comes from simply launching something and hoping people use it. It needs ownership, communication and momentum.

That is why we encourage every participating organisation to appoint an internal fundraising champion — someone who can act as the connection between your community and GiveGoodBack.

We then support them with campaign resources, ideas, regular check-ins and practical guidance.

Sustainable fundraising isn't created at launch. It's built over time.

Clear About How We Work

Our commercial structure

GiveGoodBack is a trading style and division of Digital Fusion Lab Limited and operates independently of LiveGood Inc.

GiveGoodBack participates commercially in the LiveGood programme and may receive commission arising from qualifying activity generated through organisations and participants we introduce and support.

There is no consultancy fee for the fundraising discovery, campaign development, onboarding or ongoing programme support provided as part of the GiveGoodBack programme.

We believe organisations should understand that relationship from the outset.

We also encourage charities, schools, trustees, governors and management teams to carry out whatever due diligence they consider appropriate before participating, and we are happy to provide the available programme and product information to help them do so.

Who's Behind GiveGoodBack?

GiveGoodBack is led in the UK by Simon Parslow, a Certified LiveGood Fundraising Ambassador.

The aim is not to sign up as many organisations as possible and move on. It is to work with organisations where the programme is genuinely appropriate, help them build a stronger fundraising proposition around their cause, and remain involved as that programme develops.

That means sometimes the first conversation may conclude that GiveGoodBack isn't the right fit. And that's absolutely fine.

We would rather build a smaller number of successful, long-term fundraising relationships than a large number of programmes that never gain momentum.

Start With a Conversation

You don't need to decide whether the programme is right for you today. Start by telling us about your organisation. We'll look at your cause, your supporters and what additional recurring income could help you achieve.

If we believe GiveGoodBack can add value, we'll show you what a programme tailored around your organisation could look like.
